History
Emma Coburn, winner of 2017 World Championship Steeplechase, 2016 Olympic bronze medalist, 2019 World Silver medalist, 9 time US Champion, and one of Crested Butte's most recognized athletes founded the race in 2017 to give back to her community by staging a world-class road race and event in Crested Butte, CO and including a charitable component to help support Gunnison Valley. The race draws top athletes, including Olympic and World medalists, from around the state and globe. The event features 1,000+ runners, volunteers, and spectators
Race Start Times
5k High School Girls division starts at 8:30, followed by High School Boys Division at 9:15am, and the general field + Elites at 10:15am

The picturesque 3.1 mile course in Crested Butte begins and ends at historic 3rd and Elk Ave, make your way out Peanut Rd and take in the incredible views before coming back down a fast finish on Elk Ave.

The race supports Living Journeys and has provided over $215,000 in the first 5 years. This year the goal is the raise $75,000.

Emma will be there for photos and a meet and greet from 4-6pm!
We will also have merchandise available for sale!
