History
Emma Coburn, winner of 2017 World Championship Steeplechase, 2016 Olympic bronze medalist, 2019 World Silver medalist, 10 time US Champion, and one of Crested Butte's most recognized athletes founded the race in 2017 to give back to her community by staging a world-class road race and event in Crested Butte, CO and including a charitable component to help support Gunnison Valley. The event features 1,000+ runners, volunteers, and spectators.

9:15 am - Team Prep USA Boys High School 5k

10:00 am - Emma Coburn's Elk Run 5k Presented by Coburn Partners 

After the race, stick around for the Bluebird Party Zone with live music and drinks!

Start/Finish
The picturesque 3.1 mile course in Crested Butte begins and ends at historic 3rd and Elk Ave, make your way out Peanut Rd and take in the incredible views before coming back down a fast finish on Elk Ave.
Packet Pick Up

Friday, September 29 3-6pm Center for the Arts (606 6th Ave), on the outside stage on the south stage (in front of the soccer fields). Emma will be there for photos and a meet and greet from 3-6pm! We will also have merchandise available for sale!

*If you cannot make it to packet pick up on Friday, please come to the Elk Run tent at 3rd and Elk by 8am on Saturday morning!*
